LexiShift Privacy

This is the beta privacy summary for LexiShift. It is intentionally plain: the beta is local-first and does not require a LexiShift account.

Current Summary

LexiShift is designed around local desktop app behavior, local helper/runtime services, and locally installed language resources.

For the current beta lane:

• profiles, rulesets, study state, and imported resources are local to your machine unless you choose to export or share them;
• beta support reports are user-initiated, so do not include private logs, screenshots, or files unless you intend to share them;
• release manifests, installer files, and hosted app data may be downloaded from LexiShift domains when those links are live;
• account sync, cloud backup, and server-side user profiles are not part of the current beta scope.

Tester Reports

Useful issue reports may include:

• app version,
• operating system,
• install method,
• clear reproduction steps,
• screenshots with sensitive text removed.

Hosted Resources

Hosted language/resource data must follow the project distribution register. Manual-supply or legally uncertain resources should not be exposed through public download or app-data URLs until the register explicitly allows it.

Future Features

If LexiShift later adds accounts, sync, cloud backup, or support dashboards, this page must be updated before those features are offered to beta users.
